POST: SENIOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Salary : Uganda Government Scale U3
Reports to: Principal Information and Communications Officer
Minimum Qualifications
(i) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication or Bachelor of Library Information and Science from a recognized Institution or University and Science from a recognized Institution or University (ii) Postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology will be an added advantage
A minimum of three years working experience a level of a Communication Officer or Information Officer in Government or equivalent experience in a reputable organization, (iv) The following Competencies are required:

Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Collecting, preparing, and packaging relevant information for easy access and dissemination, (ii) Ensuring safe custody of the Commissions documents and publications, (iii) Developing Information, Education find Communication (IEC) materials, (iv) Compiling and submitting periodic reports, (v) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
