region. Movit Products Ltd, a cosmetic manufacturing company was formed after a

careful assessment of the community development needs, a feeling of Ugandans as

well as a trend in global development.


Job Summary: The Human

Resource Officer – Employee Services will be responsible for providing support

in the various human resource functions of recruitment, employee relations,

training and development, performance monitoring, employee welfare and

counseling.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Actively facilitate the implementation of Human

Resource Policies, strategies, rules, regulations, procedures and terms and

conditions of service.


·        
The incumbent will implement and maintain the HR

Information System and ensure timely generation of related reports.


·        
Ensure that the company’s insurance policies are

valid, dealing with insurance claims and all related issues.


·        
The incumbent will maintain the annual leave management

tool on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and produce related statistics for

management decision.


·        
Compile and prepare HR reports and other briefs as

advised by the supervisor


·        
Prepare relevant documents to facilitate staff

recruitment, appraisal, training and development, contract renewals,

deployment, motivation, access to welfare facilities and exit.


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The ideal candidate for the Human Resource Officer

vacancy must hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or its

equivalent.


·        
At least two years’ experience in a reputable

organization.


·        
Excellent planning organization skills.


·        
Computer literacy and familiarity with the human

resources information system


·        
Sound judgment and decision making skills.


·        
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral

communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all

levels in the organization.


·        
High level of integrity.
