About FRC:
Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) is an international NGO promoting adult education and community development among refugees and has been active in Uganda since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· The incumbent will plan and coordinate agriculture related income generating activities and seek opportunities for agribusiness among refugees.
· Offer professional mentorship, training and support to agriculture related refugee groups.
· In charge of designing training materials related to agriculture, agribusiness, environmental issues.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The candidates should hold Bachelor’s degrees in Agriculture with specialisation / experience in agribusiness.
· Two years’ professional experience in agriculture as business, community development.
· Practical exposure and experience in participatory methods of training farmers, developing agribusiness.
· Language competence in Swahili or French.
