Station: Gulu, Uganda
Reports to: Deputy Registrar
The Tax Appeals Tribunal is established by the Tax Appeals Tribunal Act
Cap 345 to resolve taxation disputes between taxpayers and the Uganda Revenue
Authority (URA).
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day management
of the regional registry - In charge of receiving and handling taxpayers
complaints - Provide technical advice to taxpayer
- Maintain the Tribunal Library
- Maintain a record of Tribunal proceedings
- Perform any other duties as may be
assigned
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Diploma
in Law from a recognized institution - At least two years’ experience in legal
practice - Working knowledge of tax laws and court
procedures - Computer literacy skills
Age: Between 25 – 35 years
old
