recruitment services, high level management Trainings and focusing on keeping
clients satisfied. They would like to recruit for a valuable client, an
established hotel in Gulu Town. The Hotel will be opening up a Tourist Lodge in
North Uganda late this year.
Job Summary: The Hotel General Manager will oversee both
the hotel and the lodge.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead the
hotel management team by:
- Leadership and Development of entire hotel
operations - Guiding development of operating strategy
for all business units - In charge of developing market share
- Act as a Creative agent of change
- Eco-Friendly strategy alignment champion
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in
Hotel/ hospitality management from recognized institution both locally and
internationally. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality
management /or business management / administration is an added advantage; - The incumbent should be a seasoned hotel
manager with a minimum of six years’ experience in a 4 star or 5 star
establishment; - Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficient
in MS Project Management & Microsoft office applications; - Strong business acumen
- Visionary leader, excellent communicator
- Highly enthusiastic customer service
oriented servant leader - Ability to build and sustain working
relationships - Ability to deliver results through others
- Executive
Chef: Seven years of related experience - Food
and Beverage Supervisor: Four years’ experience - House
Keeping Supervisor: Four years’ experience - Barman:
Four years’ experience - Guest
Relations Supervisor.
