Finance Manager Job - KSK Associates


Duty Station:  Kampala, UgandaKSK Associates is a Professional Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information System Solutions.Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Develop and implement financial models to predict operating results and ensure appropriate procedures for financial reporting, record keeping and documentation which maintains files in an orderly, accurate and current manner;Take lead in budgeting and forecasting processes including developing financial targets;Oversee the Chart of Accounts accurately to accurately reflect cost centre income and expenses and general and administrative expenses in order to ensure accurate financial reporting;Complete monthly end financial statements by the 7th of the following month;Implement financial forecasting and planning tools as needed to improve planning results;Coordinate internal reporting and development of management reporting analysis of the company’s financial and operating performance.Prepare and present 13 week cash forecast;Manage planning and forecasting processes, define deliverables, timing, processesCompile and prepare cash analytics required by management/ owners;Monitor cash balances and requirements and;Perform any other duties that may be allocated to you from time to time;Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The ideal candidate should hold a Degree in Commerce, accounting and finance or Business Administration from a recognized University or relevant discipline;Possession of a Masters in Business Administration and experience in the construction industry is preferred.Part or full professional qualifications in ACCA, CPA or CIMA is desirable;A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in accounting industry;An accounting experience with a mid-size to large company is preferred;Possess the ability to ensure the corporate integration of finance, treasury and cash management objectives, policies and procedures;Possess a demonstrated capacity to build relationships internally and externally and an ability to quickly establish credibility across an organization and engage others to ensure the most effective implementation of finance functions;Demonstrated experience in a finance function for an organization of similar size and scope;Possess extensive computer knowledge and be good with Excel, word and Navision accounting software;Should have Multi location experience;Must have operated within a highly leveraged capital structure;Should have a proven ability to seek and incorporate input from others;Should have unyielding integrity/ ethics;Should have superior analytical and technical skills; problem solving driving by data/ metrics;Must have high energy, enthusiasm and excellent judgment; a strong sense of urgency and bias for action;Proven history of honoring commitments and with seamless accountabilityPossess the ability to deliver resultsProven ability to improve processes; history of driving innovation;Proven ability to work well in cross-functional team environment; a team player;All suitably qualified and interested persons should submit their applications together with:Attached copies of all academic qualifications(transcripts and certificates); Detailed CVs and mobile telephone numbers; Three work references and or/academic references;The complete applications should be sent via soft copy to;  recruitment@kskassociates.net.
