Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Role
The monitoring and evaluation officer designs, develops and implements M&E systems; manages data collection, analysis and reporting; works with program officers to strengthen programs and disseminate findings.
Responsibilities
1. In conjunction with program staff, develop monitoring and evaluation plans to capture data necessary to report on program indicators.
2. Lead implementation of surveys and additional M&E activities for assigned programs.
3. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and work with program staff on assigned analytical projects
4. Develop reporting templates and systems and manage regular M&E analysis and reporting
5. Assist in disseminating lessons learnt between programs and strengthening institutional knowledge
6. Lead reporting and documentation activities
7. Manage information systems, including electronic databases
8. Work with program and communications staff to disseminate M&E information
9. Advance the missions of Walimu and the IMAI-IMCI Alliance, a Walimu partner.
Requirements
> Experience in monitoring and evaluation or development research (>1 year)
> Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
> 18 years of age or older
> Fluent in spoken and written English
> Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; ability to design and conduct research; ability to analyze data and generate reports;
