Movit Products Ltd, a cosmetic manufacturing company was formed after a careful assessment of the community development needs, a feeling of Ugandans as well as a trend in global development.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Intuitively analyze the effect of new laws or administrative regulations on company human resources programs and policiesRepresent the company at all labour mediation meetings/sessionsOversee all employment standards and legislations such as Workers Compensation and other related labour standardsHandle the investigation and disposition of all reported indiscipline and grievances cases.Oversee the staff performance evaluation processes.Identify training and development opportunities for staffThe HR Officer will also evaluate staff training programsOffer basic counseling to staff who have performance related obstaclesActively coordinate the recruitment, selection and placement process.Qualifications, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate should hold a good degree in Human Resource Management.A minimum of three or more years’ experience in related job roles.Working knowledge of all Employment legislation and other labour lawsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task.Possess the ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.Excellent problem solving skillsAll candidates who meet the above specifications should send their applications with relevant academic credentials and a detailed CV having contacts of three referees to the:P.O.
