Job Summary: The Huawei Enterprise Solution Architect will support
the Service Delivery Manager by developing and maintaining CUSTOMER’s IT
architecture.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Render
support in determining enterprise level systems architecture, design and
approaches to deployment for CUSTOMER. - Support
in continually benchmarking CUSTOMER’s IT system against best practice
standards (e.g. ISO27001, etc.), defining best practice adoption plans and
proffer recommendations to the Service Delivery Manager. - Render
support in ensuring compliance of all architecture/design changes to approved
IT standards and policies. - Assist
in enforcing standardised change control methods to guarantee that
production systems run only on authorised and tested configurations. - Support
in implementing automated configuration audits using appropriate tools. - Maintain
an accurate record of CUSTOMER’s IT Architecture and Security status on a
regular basis and escalate irregularities to the Service Delivery Manager. - Work
closely with the relevant unit/ team/function in carrying out all relevant
activities. - Attend
team/divisional/departmental meetings as required. - Offer
guidance and manage the performance of subordinates (where applicable). - Prepare/compile
agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the
Service Delivery Manager. - Carry
out any other duties as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
- The
ideal candidate for the aforementioned Huawei Enterprise Solution
Architect career opportunity should hold a first degree or equivalent in a
relevant discipline - A
minimum of five years of related work experience
