• The
  
  incumbent prepares the Business Plan, forecasts and revenue modeling to
  
  assist is setting the Business targets


• Routinely
  
  monitors and assesses the global performance of the company through the
  
  various business indicators:


• In order to determine the threshold of performance warning


• In order to grasp each internal and external explanatory factor
  
  of performance


• In order to estimate the penetration of new product/VAS


• In order to estimate the impact of market changes on the company
  
  revenues


• The
  
  incumbent will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and monitoring data
  
  concerning customers, channels, competition and the macro-environment
  
  translating it into relevant, accurate and usable strategic knowledge:


• In order to have a good understanding of the market, to
  
  anticipate its evolution and act on it


• In order to have a good understanding of competitions’
  
  positioning, performance, capabilities and intentions


• In order to anticipate threats or to exploit opportunities


• Establishes
  
  customers’ profiles, segments and usage in order to predict customer

• Identifies

• Performs Product Evaluation: Involves the development of business
  
  cases for new initiatives and products/services; effective and efficient
  
  product performance monitoring and reporting


• The
  
  Planning & Reporting Analyst will prepares Pricing for products and
  
  services ensuring economic feasibility and profitability


• The
  
  job holder prepares financial analysis and modeling for promotions and
  
  price reductions to aid decision making

• The
  
  ideal candidate for the MTN Telecom Company Planning & Reporting
  
  Analyst should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Commerce, or MBA
  
  with a bias in Finance


• A
  
  minimum of five years’ experience in Business analysis, financial modeling
  
  and product evaluation


• Five
  
  years’ experience in marketing analytics for telecommunications or banking
  
  industry is desirable


• Computer
  
  literacy i.e. Proficient with statistical applications such as SPSS,
  
  EPINFO and MS Office applications especially Excel and Power Point


• Knowledge
  
  of the Telecommunications industry is desired


• Knowledge
  
  of MTN Uganda consumer products and services


• Detailed
  
  knowledge and understanding of competitors products


• Knowledge
  
  of the latest local and international trends and markets


• Knowledge
  
  of customer value management
