Human Resource Advisor, Jobs Vacancy in Uganda,


We are currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions that exist in our group;

Position Title:HUMAN RESOURCE ADVISOR

Duty Station: Kampala, UGANDA

Reports to:HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

1. Review and update all the selection and appraisal documents, policies and procedures

2. Prepare job adverts (internal & external) and short list qualifying candidates

3. Coordinate interviews in liaison with the process owners and submit relevant reports timely as per the procedure.

4. Update the data-bank for potential candidates accordingly

5. Develop a data-bank of consultancy firms for outsourcing as per the needs.

6. Liaise/coordinate with all stakeholders on their manpower requirements

7. Coordinate staff transfers, rotations and promotions with managers accordingly

8. Update job descriptions and the salary structure as per the needs regularly.

9. Address all internal/external audit issues related to recruitment and appraisal

10. Manage the annual graduate trainees program

11. Manage the performance appraisal exercise and all its related work.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology; Management Studies, Social Sciences, Social Work and Social Administration and other related disciplines

·         A post graduate diploma or Masters in Human Resource Management is a MUST and gives an added advantage

·         Three years’ working experience in a similar role in a large Manufacturing Company

·          Knowledge of existing labour laws and attitudinal/employee engagement surveys

·          Knowledge of all HR cycle functions

SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED

·          Integrity, flexible, good interpersonal skills, effective communication, problem solving, counseling and decision making skills.

·          Should have a positive attitude, self-driven, result focused, creative, innovative, can work for long hours and under pressure with minimum supervision.
