Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants.


IOM Migration Health Unit wishes to procure the services of trainers/instructors/ institutions to carry outAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Training;


ACLS should be done by a certified instructor/institution from the ‘American Heart Association’ whose certificates are accepted all over the World.


The instructor should provide necessary equipment for the training and individual certificates upon successful completion of the training.




The training topics should include but not limited to:


  1. Key point in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC)

  2. Basic life-support skills, including effective chest compressions and use of a bag-mask device

  3. Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest using a manual defibrillator and equipment commonly found on a crash cart

  4. Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia

  5. Airway management

  6. Related pharmacology

  7. Effective communication of a resuscitation team

  8. Practical sessions
