We are currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions that exist in our group;
Position Title:MACHINE OPERATOR – BEVERAGES PLANT

1. Conduct preventive maintenance of production machines
2. Operate production machines efficiently
3. Control wastage of materials
4. Ensuring production of good quality products.
5. Adhere to health and safety practices.
6. To oversee housekeeping around the machine area.
7. Check the materials provided to ensure rightful amounts and materials are provided.
8. Inspect the machines regularly to ensure they are in good and operational condition.
9. Detect and report any faults to the Plant Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with a bias in science subjects.
2. At least 2year’s relevant experience in a manufacturing set up. Experience in a foods industry will be an added advantage.
3. Should have some good knowledge of HACCP and general ISO standards.
SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED
Ability to stand and work for long hours, should be good in calculations, have a positive attitude, effective communication, good discipline, team work, self-driven, flexible, results focused, team player, creative, innovative and contain under pressure with minimum supervision.
S/He should have effective report writing, communication and good customer care skills.
