NFT Consult is a leading HR Consultancy firm which seeks to recruit for
its valuable client, a large manufacturing company in Uganda with a network
across East, Central and Southern Africa requires suitable individuals to apply
for the following positions due to its rapid growth, and the need to
co-ordinate and manage its integrated Sales, Quality and Logistics line efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with product and service
information, and generate opportunities and additional sales. - In charge of developing and strengthening
customer base in Domestic and Institutional Markets and Exports Markets - Ensure that all confirmed orders are
registered with relevant office for prompt delivery of material - Work in liaison with distribution channels
to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and
sales - Identify, research, and resolve customer
issues by communicating with other team members as necessary. - Perform contract review before inputting
sales orders (customer purchase orders) - Actively coordinate and provide input to
other departmental heads for planning for raw materials; production; so as
to achieve full capacity utilization of all the plants. - To keep track of feed backs received from
the Customers in respect of timely supplies; quality; and issues and
coordinate with respective departmental heads for improvements and timely
resolutions of issues. - Recognize, document, and alert the
supervisor of trends in customer inquiries. - Maintain viable information in computer
system with regards to customer and contact information
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Sales Officer should preferably hold a
Degree-level qualification. A professional qualification in
sales/marketing is an added advantage. - A minimum of three to five years’
experience of Sales and Marketing in building and construction products
like Steel & Roofings, cement, paints, electrical fittings to name but
a few. - Ideal candidates with a background in
sales from other areas other than building and construction qualify to
apply for the marketing position. - Excellent planning, co-ordination and
organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.
