Director
TrueNorth is an
HR Consultancy company which seeks to recruit for its valuable client, a
leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions. They would like to
recruit for a valuable client.
Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee the
operational running of the Agency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Agency Sales and Business Development:
·
Manage Agency pitches to prospective clients and
grow agency top line revenue.
·
Create strategic proposals to promote services.
·
Front end and manage the client relationship.
·
Research for marketing opportunities and participate
in tenders to attract high value agency projects.
·
Manage every communication element of advertising
and marketing including creative, copy, layouts and production.
·
Manage service providers, suppliers and onsite
requirements.
·
Meticulously run day to day operations of a full
service Integrated Ad Agency, supervise the team’s output and troubleshoot
problems and issues.
·
Manage the Finance Strategy by coordinating overall
budget process, annual budget plan and taking responsibility for achieving the
agreed profitability and monthly targets.
·
Oversee the Marketing Strategy by image building,
corporate communications, and brand projection to rapidly grow company’s
exposure to both corporate and government sector.
·
The incumbent will draw and implement the HR &
Admin Strategy by training and developing the team to learn and adapt to the
latest advertising trends, improving quality of proposals and evaluate
employees’ work performance.
2.
Manage the marketing department and mentoring:
·
Manage job cards, daily work sheets, all design and
creative content, media and PR management website development and
conceptualization.
·
Approve all peripherals being created for events and
external clients.
·
Develop and implement ideas to ensure the smooth
operation of the department.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The applicant should hold a Bsc/BA and / or a Master’s
degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
·
At least four years’ experience in managing a
profitable, commercially driven agency with advertising and marketing
experience in the areas of lead generation, collateral development, brand
building and online advertising.
·
Computer literacy i.e. Familiar in Microsoft office
applications and excellence in Microsoft excel.
·
Exceptional oral, written communication skills
·
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
·
Possess the ability to manage a team to hit
aggressive deadlines with high quality work.
