We are currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions that exist in our group;
Position Title:LABARATORY ASSISTANTS
Number of Positions :06 POSITIONS

1. Check the physical characteristics of products on the production line.
2. Perform basic quality analysis of products, semi products and raw materials
3. Prepare daily activity reports for submission to the Quality Control Officer
4. Liaise with Production Supervisors on quality related matters.
5. Clean-up spills by proper methods ( Housekeeping)
6. Carry out record keeping for the laboratory activities.
7. Perform simple repairs and/or calibrations of equipment.
8. Prepare reagents for laboratory tests where required.
9. Collect samples of products, semi products and raw materials for analysis.
10. Carry out all the cleaning of laboratory apparatus after any laboratory analysis and tests.
11. Adhere to the health and safety and QMS guidelines at all times
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Diploma in any science related discipline with a bias in Chemistry
1 year relevant work experience in a manufacturing set up.
SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES REQUIRED
· Should have a positive attitude, self-driven, flexible, results focused, creative, innovative, work for long hours and work under pressure with minimum supervision.
· S/He should have effective report writing, communication and good customer care skills
