Reports to Soil Scientist

Ditties and Responsibilities:
a, Developing a field plan and preparing materials, measurement instruments and other supplies for undertaking field experiments b. Participating in baseline surveys to determine needs and agro forestry production constraints as well as establish the impact of ; technology adoption c. Collecting data, specimens and samples at various experimental plots d. Participate in developing and delivering education and training programmes to farmers and other stakeholders including students on visits and attachments e. Participate in agricultural exhibitions and other programmes designed for dissemination of research findings and technology transfer, f Undertaking routine maintenance of instruments, equipment and facilities including installation and calibration g. Performing any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

a. Diploma in Forestry or equivalent qualifications from recognized institution. Possession of Bachelors degree (Hons) in related field will be an added advantage.

b) Two years relevant experience
