Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Mildmay Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested in a rewarding career undertaking the challenging roles of.The position holder will be the academic and administrative head of the Mildmay Uganda School of Medical Laboratory Technology and will manage it in a manner that ensures academic excellence, efficient use of resources and the welfare of students/staff, in line with Mildmay Uganda, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Sports and relevant national/international policies and guidelines.Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Sciences with post graduate diploma in Medical Education or diploma in Education Or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with Bachelors Degree in Medical Education He/she must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council with a current APL and have a minimum of 3 years experience in teaching. Experience in managing an academic programme is an added advatage.· Good communication and interpersonal skills, · Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial.· Hard working, trust-worthy, · and holding the highest levels of integrity and confi dentiality.· Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure;· and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda. · Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.Interested persons who meet the requirements should apply to: The Human Resource Manager at Mildmay Uganda, Entebbe Road, Lweza at hr@mildmay.or.ug clearly indicating in the subject of the email,or through P.O.
