More information can be found on our website: www.icco.nlReporting to the Regional Manager, the FO works in a multidisciplinary team and in direct cooperation with the Programme Officers. The FO is responsible for the financial aspects of relations/contracts between ICCO and partners. The job objective is accountability regarding the funding owards local partners, by contributing to the quality and transparency of the financial management and reporting of the partner organisations• Financial analysis and assessment of partner organisations and program and project proposals• Financial monitoring and evaluation of the partner organisations, programmes and projects by analysis of financial reports and audits.• Preparations of payments in contracts between ICCO/ KiA and local organisations• Supporting facilitation of capacity building and necessary expert knowledge in financial administration and control• Preparation of purchase orders in the project administration.• Monitoring and realisation of payment orders• Identification and advising on the financial capacity of partner organisations.• A minimum of 5 years of financial experience• Knowledge on financial management of development organizations, producer organizations and business initiatives in the regional context• Communicative skills both in writing and verbally• Excellent language skills in English and a regional language• Knowledge of development issues• Knowledge on ICT systems, especially MS-Office tools and MS Dynamics• Good knowledge on aspects on financing organisations.• Must be open, diplomatic and reliable• Must be result driven and an independent team player• Affinity with the Christian protestant character of ICCO and Kerk in Actie and a sense of integrity• Independence and highly ethical attitude towards workplease send CV and cover letter with 3 work related referees to e-mail below.
