Our Client is a large manufacturing company in Uganda dealing in building and construction materials, with a network across East, Central and Southern Africa. Due to its rapid growth, and the need to co-ordinate and
manage its integrated and strategic Marketing efforts, a vacancy for a Marketing Manager has arisen to fulfill these needs.
Job Description :
1.Develop and implement the company Marketing Strategy. 2.Develop plans for advertising and marketing of the companys products to raise the market profile and increase sales.
3.Manage the organization of promotional activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently, and within agreed budgets, to raise the profile of the company and increase sales.
4.Coordinate and manage all company marketing plans and activities with other marketing managers and staff in the company to ensure that the plans are delivered effectively.
5.Develop, manage and control the company marketing budget for marketing activities. 6.Respond to internal and external requests for the development and provision of promotional activities.
7.Develop, co-ordinate and maintain stock of promotional material for issue to staff and customers.
8.Arrange visits and hospitality for customers and others to promote the image of the company and its products. 9.Contribute to the companys newsletter and all other internal communications.
10.Contribute to the company website.
11.Manage and maintain all company branding and associated activities.
12.Develop, manage and maintain a company Sales Achievers Scheme.
13.Enhance Value Creation through company synergy.
Experience : 8 (Years)

Skill Set :
•A Degree-level qualification. A professional qualification in marketing is an added advantage.
•At least 8 years marketing experience in building and construction industry like Steel & roofings, cement, paints, electrical fittings to name but a few.
•Thorough knowledge of company products.
•Excellent planning, co-ordination and organizational skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
