is a leading Regional Micro Finance Company, a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings
Ltd, providing emergency loans to employed individuals in Eastern Africa. We
have a wide spread branch network in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Currently,
Platinum provides loans to Civil servants and employees of the Private sector,
and will soon roll out asset finance products.
Job Summary: The Regional Sales
Manager will be tasked to achieve sales performance of the company products for
the branches under supervision as communicated by management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
In charge of consistently meeting sales goals.
·
Build and strengthen working relationships in sales
and collections activities with stakeholders.
·
Responsible for recruiting, retaining, working with
and growing teams to solve specific challenges and accomplish tasks.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicants should preferably hold Degrees in a
business related field.
·
Three years’ experience in a similar position
preferably in a financial institution
·
Detailed understanding of the industry in which PCL
is a major player
·
Clear understanding of the reward, remuneration and
retention systems of sales agents dealing in financial products (banking/loan
products or insurance products).
·
Proven skills in building, developing and leading
teams.
·
Computer literacy skills and knowledge.
·
Possess leadership and supervisory skills.
·
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
·
Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.
