Reports

The Government of The Republic of Uganda
has received funds from Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA),
Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), OPEC Fund for International Development
(OFID) and the Government of Uganda for rehabilitation and expansion of Kayunga
and Yumbe Hospitals. The project objective is to deliver the Uganda National
Minimum Health Care Package (UNMHCP), through improvement of Health Infrastructure.
Job Summary: The
Administrative Assistant will actively participate in the coordination of all
operations and administrative functions of the Project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support
the Project Administrator in the day to day operations and functions of
the Project. - The
incumbent is responsible for organizing facilitation for refreshments,
stationery and other requirements during meetings and to project staff. - The
Administrative Assistant will dispatch memos, letters, documents to
different offices and stakeholders, follows up and reports to the
Administrator for decisions. - Support
the Secretary in the management of clients within acceptable timelines. - Expeditiously
follows up the project financial requisitions with the project Accountant
for timely release of funds for project activities - Actively
promotes customer care and public relations at the project offices. - Supports
the Project Administrator to run official errands. - Ensures
offices are opened, cleaned and closed timely. - Performs
any other duties as assigned by the Project Administrator.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Administrative Assistant should preferably hold an Bachelor of Arts with
an option of Social Work and Social Administration or Social Sciences or
Public Administration from a recognized University. - Possession
of a postgraduate course in Management will be an added advantage.
