Country Director - Uganda (Re-advertisement)

HelpAge International seeks to recruit a Country Director who will be responsible for the development, management and administration of Uganda Programme and promoting development of a national capacity to meet the needs of older people.

The successful candidate will have a degree in social sciences or related field, five years experience in managing a country programme, experience in resource mobilization and management of multi-donor, multi-stakeholder programmes. Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and numerical skills, ability to manage staff from a distance, adherence to tight deadlines as well as building capacity of staff and partners is essential to this role. Experience in ageing issues will be an added advantage.
