Crest Foam Mattresses was established in

1986 and produces the best value mattresses in Uganda – a balance between price

and quality. Our product engineers are continuously working to improve our

mattresses, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.


Key

Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
The

incumbent will be tasked with drawing and implementing the approved Sales and

Marketing strategy.


·        
Take

part in the development of Sales material.


·        
In

charge of prospecting for new customers.


·        
Retain

existing customers by presenting new solutions and services to them.


·        
Send

weekly sales and marketing reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.


·        
Manage

the distribution network which includes logistics and fleet management.


·        
Collect

market intelligence to identify threats and growth areas.


·        
Train

and mentor staff in the area of business development.


·        
Maintain

a client database with a tracking tool for progress.


Qualifications,

Skills and Experience: 


·        
The

Business Development Manager should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree from a

recognized institution.


·        
Possession

of a chartered institute of marketing qualification is an added advantage.


·        
At

least three years’ experience in sales or marketing.


·        
Computer

literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Microsoft office.


·        
Ability

to deliver set results.


·        
Ability

to pursue high standards in line with agreed organizational values and

standards of professionalism.


·        
Good

planning and organizational skills


·        
Excellent

networking and negotiating skills.


·        
Ability

to generate original and imaginative ideas and solutions to problems.


·        
Fluency

in both written and spoken English. Ability to communicate in Swahili is an

added advantage.
