construction management firm in the World. Hill International is seeking, for

the construction of a 5 star Hotel in Kampala – Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        
The incumbent should acquaint themselves with full knowledge

of mechanical and plumbing systems, their operations and their execution in

construction to the highest standard.

·        
Ensure that all systems are being implemented

properly, inclusive of air conditioning, fire fighting, drainage, water supply,

etc.

·        
Carry out the works at all areas in a correct

manner.

·        
The incumbent will crosscheck the systems already

implemented.

·        
Detect any issues or defects in the executed work.

·        
Routinely solve any problems that may arise, whether

due to detected issues or in the execution of remaining works.

·        
Read and interpret technical drawings.

·        
Work closely with engineers and other personnel to

implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide

technical information.

·        
Specify system components or direct modification of

products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance

specifications.

·        
Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and

maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet

requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to

diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.

·        
Manage the installation, operation, maintenance, and

repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning

according to specifications.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The applicant should preferably hold a University

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

·        
At least fifteen years of related experience

·        
Previous experience in at least one five star hotel

project is mandatory

·        
Fluently speaker of the English language
