Job Summary: The Procurement, Compliance, & Financial

Specialist will be in charge of managing the contract compliance and

procurement requirements of all work under the USAID/Uganda Mission contract.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate for the USAID Procurement,
  
  Compliance, and Financial Specialist career opportunity should hold a
  
  Bachelor’s degree with education or training in procurement, logistics, business,
  
  law, economics, finance, public administration, or related field


• Significant experience in procurement and/or
  
  contract management in the field of international development, preferably
  
  including USAID, USG, and/or international NGO experience 


• Familiarity with knowledge of the Federal
  
  Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as well as commonly used USG contracting
  
  and/or procurement mechanisms and their governing policies is highly
  
  desirable


• Possess excellent written and verbal English
  
  language skills
