is the Radio Maria Association in Italy. All the Radio Maria Associations

throughout the five continents are members of the World Family which guarantees

brand authenticity, offers legal, technical, administrative assistance and the

missionary development of the project.


Job Summary: The Coordinator

will oversee the departments of administration, promotion, service and

technical operations.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:  


·        
The incumbent will be maintaining effective and

collaborative communication with the National Program Director to ensure the

smooth operation RMU.


·        
In charge of the planning, coordinating, supervising

and appraising the work of all the departmental heads of RMU, in collaboration

with the National Program Director as necessary.


·        
Carrying out management functions, aimed at meeting

board targets. Therefore, he is responsible for the coordination of the whole

operational Unit with large discretionary powers he/she is entrusted with to

accomplish all that has been established.


·        
The incumbent will also serve as a member of the Executive

Committee and so he is entitled to participate in every single meeting, helping

the President to establish issues and to introduce them on the agenda, looking

after the drawing up of the subsequent Action Plan.


·        
Being creative by implementing the fundraising

activity and bringing new strategies on how to improve the system already in

place.


·        
Human resource management: Supervising

human resource assignments and the relative information systems.


·        
Administration: Mentor and supervise

the Administrator and collaborate with him for total transparency in the

accounts, cash flow, budget forecast and to organize the expenditures for the

activities with proper procedures.


·        
Building an effective team and motivating the staff

by communicating clearly and regularly, ensuring that the message has been

understood.


·        
Ensuring that the activity of employees and

volunteers is carried out in compliance with the established guidelines of the

organization.


·        
Keeping a regular schedule for informational

meetings, Maintaining active communication and effective team work, through

regular weekly and/or bi-monthly meetings with the National Program Director,

to ensure the preparation and timely submission of all reports and any other

documents and information, as may be required by the EXCOM, the Board and other

stakeholders.


·        
Cooperating effectively with the editorial

programming Director and the promoter to check that goals, strategy and

marketing operational functions are in line with the needs.


·        
Keeping in touch constantly and actively with the

technical area, in order to ensure the quality of the programs and regular

maintenance of the equipment.


·        
Prepare and submit monthly reports in regards to the

activities of the departments that are under his/her supervision.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  


·        
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s

degree from a recognised institution related to

Logistics, Management, Administration.


·        
A minimum of three to four years’ experience in a

similar position, in medium/large organizations. A no-profit Association

experience would be appreciated.


·        
Proved experience in Logistics, Management,

Administration and Organization, preferably in a non-profit association.


·        
The applicant must be a Catholic ready to serve the

institution diligently and faithfully; ready to contribute to its success, to

promote and protect its interests while portraying the highest standard of

conduct as per the policies.


·        
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


·        
Capacity for understanding the Mission, Values and

the Code of conduct, characterizing the Association, so as to observe them

carefully.


·        
Teamwork skills with a high sense of responsibility,

flexibility and creativity, in order to create a “business” trustworthy

atmosphere and to encourage everyone to pursue the targets.


·        
Computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft

Office Packages and ready to use modern methods of communication such as

websites.


·        
Languages: Fluent in both

written and spoken English
