Loan Officers (105 Fresher Jobs) – Kampala – ASA Limited

ASA Limited is an affiliate of ASA international Holding which is registered in Mauritius (”ASA International”). ASA International is a holding company that owns and operates microfinance institutions in different countries in Africa & Asia. The major objective of ASA Limited is to offer affordable, flexible and need-responsive micro-finance products and services to the economically active poor people in Uganda. This company is staffed by Ugandan personnel, who are responsible for the day-to-day operations, with guidance from a handful of expatriate Bangladeshi professionals. It is a subsidiary of ASA International one of the largest Microfinances in the world. Our Head Office is located at Plot 228 Buye, Kigowa road, Ntinda.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Approve loans within specified limits, and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
· Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
· Keenly analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
· Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
· Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.
· Regularly review and update credit and loan files.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The Loan Officers must hold a Bachelor’s degree
· Age: Below 30 years
