Sugar

and Allied Industries Limited (SAIL), also referred to as Kaliro Sugar Limited,

is a subsidiary of Alam Group which was established in 2011 with the aim of

meeting the regional deficit and giving Uganda 100% sugar self-sufficiency.


Job Summary: The Information Technology Specialist will be

responsible for maintaining the company’s IT network, servers and security

systems. Network maintenance, computer backups, installations of software,

updating and activation of software, network, mall and computer configuration,

server servicing and starting services for ERP, giving support to all software

and hardware issues, ERP support and making sure that ERP is opening and

running reports for all companies.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in

    IT

  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience

    with proficiency in ERP/ORACLE/ESS
