Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will support the Bank

through developing and implementing a suitable marketing strategy and

initiatives, based on the knowledge and nature of the market that will in turn

translate into desired business growth for the bank.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage business development activities.


• The incumbent will oversee the day-to-day
  
  activities of the Marketing unit including PR, Press and marketing
  
  communications agencies.


• Manage marketing suppliers including media
  
  agents.


• In charge of brand evaluation and enforcement
  
  internally and externally.


• Oversee corporate communications activities.


• In charge of fostering community relations
  
  strategic CSR initiatives.


• Responsible for training and sensitization of
  
  staff on products and services.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant for the Equity Bank marketing
  
  manager career opportunity should hold a degree in business related field
  
  preferably in Sales and/or Marketing from a recognized university.


• Applicants with Marketing-specific
  
  professional certifications will have an added advantage.


• A minimum of five years relevant
  
  post-qualification experience in Sales and/or Marketing, preferably in the
  
  financial services sector or commercial environment.


• The applicant must exhibit strong leadership
  
  skills


• Strong business awareness


• Excellent analytical skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Good coordination and negotiation skills.
