Baylor
College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a
private not for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and
prevention services; maternal child health services; Health Professional
training and Clinical Research.
Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will routinely review and
monitor the implementation of the procurement cycle policy and guidelines for
the timely availability of quality goods, works and services at the most
competitive prices in line with PPDA and Baylor-Uganda’s
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Procurement
Officer job placement should hold a University degree in Business
Administration (procurement) or a specialized procurement degree - Additional Qualification e.g. CIPS, or a Post
graduate diploma in Procurement is desired - At least three to five years of procurement
experience in a busy setting. - Good team player
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and
written) - Good management and analytical skills.
