Organisation: Roofings LimitedReports to: Group Sales and Marketing ManagerRoofings Ltd is part of the Roofings Group, a number one quality steel manufacturer that supplies over 350,000 metric tons per annum, to both local and export markets within the region. Our offices are situated about 6 km outside Kampala city centre in Lubowa, along Entebbe road.Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing manager – Coils will be responsible for coordinating with all concerned parties to support and increase sales volumes in international market whilst keeping close relations with clients. He will also expand the client base, managing key accounts and maintain the marketing database. The Sales and Marketing Manager - Coils will be responsible for a variety of activities including, but not limited to, evaluating financial structures, prepare reports to expedite the billing process and may also have to ensure that shipments are in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the export industry. Key Duties and Responsibilities:  In charge of developing market plans that support export sales; facilitating both long and short-term sales forecasts, calculated risks & high success rates.Detect opportunities at target companies within the geographically defined region.Develop and execute innovative Sales and Marketing strategies, generate sales and Submit monthly business plans.Meets sales financial objectives and provide Quotations / Proforma Invoices and Tenders.Track competitors and identify new product opportunities through market analysis.Identify and build relationships with potential stakeholders.Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of system documentation.Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies.Achieve sales operational objectives.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The applicant should hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA)Possession of a Business Degree or any other equivalent management certification.Working knowledge in ERP package or any additional Accounting Certifications i.e. CMA, CFM, CPA etc.At least seven years’ sales experience  especially in/from an international companyHe should have strong interpersonal and presentation skills and should be able to communicate efficiently both verbally and in written form and can translate complex technical details to simple form. He must have good leadership skills and able to organize, motivate and liaise with the junior staff. He should be versatile and therefore able to carry out functions across various levels of the organization.  He should be able to adjust to fast changing business conditions and is always result oriented.Excellent track record in international new business or export track-record.Likes to work in a dynamic, international and hands-on environmentCandidate should have strong influence management and collaborative skills.The applicant must have broad experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably having dealt with construction companies, distributors or wholesalers in E.
