Future Options
Consulting Ltd is an HR Consultancy company that seeks to recruit for its
valuable client in the Engineering Sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Imports Purchase (Booking in finance imports
purchase)
·
Makes sure that bookings in system and foreign
invoice balance
·
The job holder also makes journals for freight charges,
clearing and handling
·
Reconciles freight forwarders, clearing agent
accounts
·
Makes purchase order for both local and foreign
supplier
·
Regularly checks any pricing discrepancies in
foreign creditors.
·
In charge of the reconciliation of all foreign
creditors accounts using supplier statements
·
Ensure that payment is made for only what is
received
·
Ensure that payment is made according to payment
terms agreed upon
·
Ensure that credit notes received for parts not
delivered
·
In charge of costing of imports’ consignment
·
Consolidates all related documentation per
consignment
·
Prepares costing of each consignment using costing
template
·
Identifies price / rate irregularities and checks
with the supplier / service provider
·
Carry out month end Whole goods stock count.
·
Count all whole goods, identifying and physically
see them.
·
Ensure that all serial numbers are recorded.
·
Ensure to differentiate whole goods according to
make.
·
The job holder will also reconcile counted stock
with Tally.
·
Ensure that files are opened and all documents
correctly filed in the respective files
·
Work closely with Auditors with all necessary
information at the time of Audits.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant
vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
·
Keen attention to detail
