desserts.

Job Summary: The Stores

Assistant and Cake Delivery Operative will mainly be responsible for the

receiving/ issuance of products to and from the store respectively,

facilitating for buying of required items that are not in stock and maintaining

records of all stores operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Issue out materials from stores as per the approved

requisitions and as assigned by the head of production

·        
Ensure proper records are maintained on the movement

of products to and from production as well as to the final consumer.

·        
Raise purchase requisitions for items not in stock.

Receipt of Incoming Materials:

·        
Preparation of Purchase Requisitions.

·        
Arrange products received in the allocated rack.

·        
Monitor on expiry dates of products and inform the

head of production of any expiry that needs to be planned for

·        
Ensure that products are well and properly arranged

in the racks to avoid breakages or accidents.

·        
Participate in inventory and stock take exercise as

guided.

·        
Update and maintain all records as guided by the

operating procedure: Bin cards, Requisitions, GRN, Production Register,

Internal system are similar to physical stock count.

·        
Ensure that the store is at all times maintained

clean and neat.

·        
Ensure no an authorized persons are in the store.

·        
Deliver cakes to clients as need arises

·        
Perform any other related duties or assignment as

directed.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The applicant must be a male who preferably holds a diploma

in Stores Management or Supply chains/ Logistics Management or two years’ experience

in a similar position or an internship in a similar role. Possession of any

accounting qualification is an added advantage.

The applicant must have passed Mathematics and

English at 0′ Level. Comfortable using a boda-boda (a company helmet and

reflective vest will be provided)

·        
The applicant should have the ability to read, write

and communicate in English.

·        
Applicants should have good knowledge of roads,

streets and short cuts in Kampala

·        
Must be extremely organized, dependable and a good

time manager.

·        
Age: Above 24 years
