Job Summary: The Human Resource Director will be responsible for the implementation and application of the University’s human resource development and management policies and strategy; working in partnership with departments in the University in identification, recruitment, training, performance management of Academic and Administrative staff; managing grievances and administering staff disciplinary procedures; developing and implementing policies like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, and absence management;, developing of job descriptions, person specifications and preparing job adverts, etc
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the IUEA Human Resource Director vacancy should hold a Master’s Degree preferably in Human Resource Management or a related management field.
A minimum of five years’ experience with large organisations of approximately five hundred employees.
Previous experience working with Academic staff.
Good public speaking skills
Excellent communication skills; efficient for a large organisation;
Good report writing skills
Team building and motivation;
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English
