Performance Management Manager – Kampala – Movit Products Limited

Job Summary: The Performance Management Manager will be responsible for developing systems and procedures that will ensure achievement of high performance and motivation of MPL staff; communicating clearly to managers and supporting them in implementation.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies and systems to support managers in the performance management of their staff including; developing the performance appraisal process and carrying out training on performance management;
Provide ongoing oversight and support to ensure that performance measures are being used to effectively manage operations, identify and manage risks, and effect organizational change;
Develops and conducts presentations and training to organization management and staff on the performance appraisal system;
The jobholder also manages and leads the pay for performance evaluation system;
Carry out assessments and gap analysis on employee skills and trainings;
Manage and assess MPL organizational development strategies and processes; and
Design and execute key programmatic elements of the organizational development process and evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Performance Management Manager should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent honors degree with a post graduate diploma in Human Resources;
A minimum of five years’ experience in HR, three years’ experience in performance management specifically;
Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships;
Prior experience of effective challenging and influencing at management level;
Ability to influence and coaching skills;
Advanced computer literacy skills with the ability to do analysis of data and generate reports;
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the present employment legislation; and
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, excellent organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes.
