Ugandan National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). IUEA main campus is
located in Kansanga, Kampala, Uganda, and draws students from East Africa, and
from the rest of the world. The International University of East Africa

Job Summary: The Human Resource Director will be responsible
for the implementation and application of the University’s human resource
development and management policies and strategy; working in partnership with
departments in the University in identification, recruitment, training,
performance management of Academic and Administrative staff; managing grievances
and administering staff disciplinary procedures; developing and implementing
policies like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities,
and absence management;, developing of job descriptions, person specifications
and preparing job adverts, etc
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the IUEA Human
Resource Director vacancy should hold a Master’s Degree preferably in
Human Resource Management or a related management field. - A minimum of five years’ experience with
large organisations of approximately five hundred employees. - Previous experience working with Academic
staff. - Good public speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills; efficient for
a large organisation; - Good report writing skills
- Team building and motivation;
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
