Job Summary: The Regional Manager Western will be in charge of coordinating,

monitoring and evaluating the implementation of branch work plans/ activities

in line with regional set targets and bank policy


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The incumbent will plan, co-ordinate and

    monitor Branch logistical support/needs like staffing, stationery,

    equipment etc. in line with the budget and business plan.

  • Coordinate implementation of the regional

    marketing strategies for bank products in line with set targets, business

    plan and bank policies.

  • Keenly monitor and review all aspects of

    compliance to established policies, procedures and risk in the respective

    branches, and implement incident reporting as per policy

  • Regularly review and recommend appropriate

    amendments to both credit and Banking policies and procedures in line with

    strategic plan and best practice.

  • Set targets for business growth (Lending

    & deposit) per Branch, monitor Branch performance in line with set

    targets and operations business strategy and Bank’s corporate plan.

  • Actively monitor the implementation of customer

    service policies and make appropriate recommendations in line with the

    Banks customer service standards and strategy to increase the banks market

    share.

  • Stay abreast with latest market trends in the

    markets and advise customers

  • Recommend changes to meet customer business

    expectations and pricing based on customer value profitability and usage

    of bank services

  • Implement a robust customer visitation

    programme to achieve clear understanding of key customer business needs.

  • Manage performance and development of staff

    in line with HR policies


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Regional

    Manager Western job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any

    discipline. Possession of a postgraduate qualification is an added

    advantage

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a

    Branch Management role

  • Business analytical skills

  • Leadership and People Management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good conflict management skills

  • Team building and management of diverse

    stakeholders

  • Performance management skills

  • Proven ability to undertake market

    intelligence in order to deal with Competition

  • Ability to operate within Limited resources

    to meet business requirements in a given time-frame.
