African
Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental,
non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main
aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa
in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.
Job Summary: The Site Supervisor/Foreman will be in charge of
supervising daily site operations
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of
sites. - Mentoring and supervision of all site staff.
- Follow up on civil works and prepare daily
progress reports on the site. - Coordinating with the civil engineer on daily
work plans and way forward. - Perform any other duties assigned by the Civil
Engineer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold a diploma
in Civil Engineering - A minimum of three years of related work
experience. - Possess a good understanding and experience
of civil works. - Highly self-motivated.
- Good reporting skills.
