Consulting Ltd is an HR Consultancy company that seeks to recruit for its
valuable client.
Job Summary: The Chief
Finance Officer will have the overall responsibility of implementing sound
financial management and accounting policies, procedures, practices and
controls to ensure compliance with both regulatory and statutory requirements
of a regulated financial institution. The CFO will prepare and implement sound
financial and accounting policies and controls. The job holder will also ensure
compliance with both regulatory and statutory requirements. He / she will ensure
financial information provided to management and Board and Regulator is
reliable, accurate and timely to drive performance management & the
strategic decision making process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Oversight of the Finance department: Lead the
finance team in implementing company strategic objectives before, during and
post transformation.
·
Design, implement and monitor internal and financial
controls to maintain a strong environment of internal control and risk
management.
·
In charge of the recruitment, retention, performance
management and staff development.
·
Responsible for work scheduling, organization and
planning;
·
In charge of leave management
·
Responsible for financial reporting, risk management
and compliance
·
Coordinate the statutory audit process and maintain
relationship with auditors and tax consultants.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The Chief Finance Officer should preferably hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting or related field
·
Full Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA,
CPA, CFA)
·
Keen attention to detail
