Job Description
The USAID/Uganda Private Health Support Program (UPHS) is USAID’s flagship program in the private sector in Uganda. The program objectives are:
1) expand availability of health services by private providers,
2) increase affordability of private health services and products, and
3) improve quality of private health sector facilities and services.
Since August 1, 2014, UPHS assumed responsibility to sustain access to high impact HIV prevention and critical life-saving HIV/ AIDS services through 56 Private Not-For Profit facilities/organizations in Uganda, previously supported by USAID Uganda through the InterReligious Council of Uganda (IRCU).
Under this mechanism, UPHS plans to train 3,000 OVC care givers from selected districts in
food security and nutrition as part of the broad OVC household care package.
To undertake this task, UPHS seeks for proposals from Ugandan qualified firms to carry out the training.
Note: UPHS will not be liable for any costs incurred in the course of preparation and submission of the proposal.

Interested firms should pick detailed request for proposal document from UPHS office located at Plot 4B Kololo Hill Drive, and should send their proposals to: Hellen.Karuhanga@ ugandaphs.org by Monday December 1, 2014, 5:00 pm.
