Kakira Sugar is owned by the Madhavani Group and it is extracted from cane
grown on lush plantations on the shores of Lake Victoria. The sweet, sparkling
crystals with their distinctive taste and flavour, and rich golden colour, have
sweetened dishes all over Uganda since the 1930s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Performing major overhauling and repairs of engine,
automatic transmission, differential, hydraulic and pneumatic systems .brakes
and other related activities of cars, lorries, motor cycles and other
miscellaneous equipments (Both petrol and diesel)
·
In charge of planning and organising the required material
to carry out above jobs
·
Inspecting, testing and diagnosing and trouble
shooting of equipment.
·
Responsible for managing and handling related
documents for above activities
·
Enforcing the safety, health and environment policy
of the company to subordinates.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The applicant must hold Diplomas in any of the
following: Mechanical, Agricultural, Automotive Engineering or their equivalent
obtained from a recognised technical college or university.
·
At least six years’ related working experience.
·
Ability to handle the control module issues using
service advisor.
·
Familiarity with handling repairs of both petrol and
diesel engines.
·
Computer literacy skills
·
Age: 25 Years and
above.
