Operations Pty Ltd is an operating division of Tullow Oil Plc, one of the

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Offer leadership and management support to Tullow operations
and ensure that development, planning and execution is done in line with agreed
time lines, budget and required standards.
·
Oversee the coordination and input to Front End
Engineering and Design (FEED).
·
Contractors on Environmental and Social design
criteria.
·
Regularly review, manage and challenge the
scope and implementation of the Environmental and Social Impact
Assessment (ESIA) on an ongoing basis.
·
Embed environmental and social performance strategies,
standards and policies relevant to development and operations.
·
Build internal capacity and alignment with partners
on environmental and social considerations.
·
Provide functional leadership to embedded
environmental and social performance staff and own the development of Ugandan
national staff.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
·
The Tullow Oil Safety & Sustainability Lead should
hold a University Degree in a Sustainability Development related field i.e. Engineering, Law or Business Administration.
·
At least fifteen years’ experience of field and
corporate sustainability practices in Oil/Gas and other extractives.
·
Evidence of pragmatic delivery of standards.
·
Previous experience on a project compliant with
industry best practice and recognized International Financial Institution
Standards such as IFC, Equator principles etc.
·
Past exposure and experience with Environmental and
Social Impact Assessments and Management Plans.
·
Familiarity with Crisis Management is an added
advantage.
·
Highly innovative with strong focus on delivery.
·
Leadership orientation.
·
Ability to influence.
